Gobble Gobble!

I just love all of these little turkeys! We did lots of crafts this week and read lots of fun stories (including some non-fictions ones). We talked about the importance of Thanksgiving and shared things we are so very thankful for!

Thursday:
My favorite Thanksgiving story! If you haven't read it...you need too!

After reading it we made a Mr. Turkey of our own...

Great for center pieces at your Thanksgiving table!

A Turkey of a snack!

Mrs. Jaime helping us with our Christmas Program songs
(Away in the Manger, Rudolph, & Santa Claus is Coming to Town)
*Please practice these with your kiddos at home!

Body in Motion with Mrs. Amy

It was a great day to get our little bodies moving!

After reading a book about being thankful...We asked the kiddos what they were thankful for. Then they colored pictures on their mats! This is a fun Thanksgiving place mat!

Perfection!

Tearing for T!!
These kiddos had to tear pieces of paper to fill in their letter T. The smaller the pieces they tear the harder their fingers are working! Just look at those sweet fingers working so hard! Great job buddy!

Wow! These kiddos rocked it!

Love...Love...Love!

Such a proud smile!

Friday:
We learned about the Mayflower...and then using our sweet hands we made our own!

My precious turkeys! We made these adorable magnets for you to treasure forever!!

Tommy the Turkey has 5 feathers. They had to add 5 feathers to their turkey. I see so much improvement with them each week with understanding the value of a number. We are  still working on their 1:1 counting. Their little mouths often count faster than their fingers can move! This is totally normal...but you can help them with this at home! Allow them to help set the table this Thanksgiving...their are lots of things to count out there!

If I were a Thanksgiving Turkey I would...I loved hearing their responses!

ordering from biggest to smallest.

Great job my smart kiddos!
What a fun and busy week. We tied in 2 themes this week...and truly enjoyed it! Please have a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving. Please remember all the wonderful things we have to be thankful for! hugs!!
