Fire Safety, L, 5, and The Best Thing of all Grandparent's and Special Friend's Day!!

Let's Stop, Drop, and Roll...
Great rolling!

Mrs. Trina is even getting into it! We know how to be safe!

Now let's sequence in the right order what to do if we should ever catch fire!

Cutting is a great fine motor skill! And he's got it!

Now that our Sequence of "Stop, Drop, and Roll" is complete...What better way to finish it than by adding a fire made from our precious hands!

Get those sleeves nice and high!

A Perfect finished product!

So proud!

Yup! You did it! Perfection!
In case of an emergence we know to call: 9-1-1...Let's practice!

Now let's use a pretend real phone! We practiced what to say when the operator answers! We know this number isn't for fun!

Being a good friend and helping each other out!

What's hot and What's not!

L is for Lollipop!

Hard at work making the perfect lollipop!

So perfect!
Hunting for those L's

Our newest star! She knows just what to do!
If we can hunt for L's we can hunt for those "on fire 5's!"
A bit of If you Give a Moose a Muffin by Laura Numeroff during snack time!

They are "eating" this up!

Even Grandparents are joining in for the fun! Trying to get their sweet girl to join in! Will it work?

It did!

Week 5! Learning is such fun!! This week we learned all about apples, the number 3, and the letter A. There are so many activities that we love doing!  A big hug and thank you to Trina and Jeana for helping me out in my time of need on Monday!
EAch morning when your kiddos come in they begin their day with table top activities. Above...you will see number matching. Here you can see here Mr. Potato Head...there are sequencing cards to help them order the parts they will put on and fine motor skills with platic tweezers and pom-pom balls.

Letter matching!
