All about Gardening!

I know I say this each and every week...but it is always true...what an awesome week! We had so much fun learning about flowers and gardens. We even planted some seeds of our own! I know they are anxious for their seeds to start growing. We talked about what seeds need to grow...and how seeds are just like us!  We worked on the letter Zz and continued with numbers 0-10.

Thursday:

Pond life...

The kiddos enjoyed learning about life cycles of pond creatures like frogs and ducks. We worked on the letter Qq and continued numbers 0-10 (with a focus on 6 this week).

Thursday:

Ocean

Welcome back. I hope you all had a wonderful spring break. I spent it with lots of family time...inside of course with this crazy weather!

This week we covered the ocean theme. What a fun theme to come back to. We worked on the letter Oo, a focus on number 8, and even had some fun science!

Thursday:
After reading A house for Hermit Crab we made hermit crabs of our own!



He looks thrilled to get his hand prints done!

The kiddos had a blast flying this big octopus kite! It was the perfect windy day!!

The kiddos rolled the dot cubes..counted the dots, and added food to the fish's belly!
