All About Me!

And we are off to a great start of the school year. I can tell we are going to have an amazing year!

This week our theme was "All About Me," We learned that God made each and everyone different and special...and he loves us very much.  This week's bible story (that all of LAP do together) was the parable of the wise and foolish builders.

We read the books: I Like Myself, I like Me!, and The Kissing Hand. We will soon be starting our monthly author study. The poem in their folder "Alphabet Brew" was introduced this week. This poem we will do each week with the letter of the week. This week's letter was Mm. We also worked on the number 1.

We began working on our classroom routine and our stations. These will fall more into place as the kiddos get more comfortable and used to our day.

Next week our theme is Family and Friends. If you haven't please e-mail me a picture of your family. And don't forget to send in your picture collage for your kiddos to share with the rest of the class!
