Weather!

This week we talked all about the different types of weather. We made a tornado in a jar...and I even showed them a tornado that came passed my house several years ago. We worked on the letter Ww and the number 4.

*I was super sad to miss Friday! But Mrs. Jaime and Mrs. Jennifer held the fort down perfectly!

Thursday:
We checked to see our favorite type of weather...we then went back and hunted for all the Ww's

The kiddos made a weather chart of their own!

Super coloring!

Pro Martial arts came to visit us! We had a ton of fun learning about karate!

We can make wind by blowing through straws!

W is for weather..

These kiddos got 4 strips of paper and had to practice making a W
*This was a 2 day project.

Our last friends to share the, "Me" buckets!

I sure loved getting to know them!
 Friday:
After reading The Watermelon Seed book... (one of my all time favorites) we made watermelons of our own!
Our watermelon sensory bags! Just add hair gel and food coloring!

Time for friends and play!

Finishing our weather projects!

Counting seeds and adding stickers...a great fine motor skill!

After making a tornado in a jar. Sorry I forgot to take pictures...but it is just water and dish soap...you then swirl it around and it makes a tornado! Here is a picture of the one that went past my house in 2012...
