Week 3...Pets and the Letter P

Every morning we begin with a morning message.
The kiddos each get a chance to come up and answer a question using a sticker.

This week we played a fun activity with a song,"Doggy, Doggy where's your bone? Someone took it from your home!"

They got 3 chances to find who had it hidden. She found it!

He found it too!

Nope...not here!

Oh wait...here it is!
We read Cookies Week,  and then made our own crazy kitties!

P is for popcorn! We traced our P's with popcorn! Then the kiddos got to eat some!

Look at all of the fun ways we can make our P's

Library time...Let's read with a friend!

This week we made a graph on who had cats or dogs at home.

Catching up on a great author, David Shannon!

Our hamster sensory table! Don't worry no real hamsters are in there!
More math...sort dog bones by color!

Look what we can do...organize them from biggest to smallest...

Another fun craft...We read, Not Norman and then created our own fishbowl with Norman in it!

Now we all have pets! And a awesome smile!

Let's go on a word hunt...Find all the P's!

We played...What's this P picture! I would flip the cards over one-by-one, and they would see who could shout out the correct word first!

oooppsss.... an out of order word hunt! But to great of a picture to leave out!
Listening Station with Mrs. Trina! They LOVE this!!
We have a visitor for pet week! Mrs. Lori was kind enough to bring in her therapy dog, Rudy.

She told us about all of the wonderul things he can do!

Asked us questions and then showed us how smart Rudy is! He listens to her every command!

We got to say goodbye to this awesome guy!
