Jan Brett

What a great week back! We had so much fun exploring this amazing author. We love how she provides us with picture clues to predict what will happen next. We began working on the number 6 and the letter Bb.

Thursday:
Q-tip dotting the letter Bb...a great fine motor skill...

Mrs. Jennifer working on the proper scissor grip. Things you can cut at home: paper, play-doh, yarn. This will build hand strength and you can also work on developing the proper grip!
Friday:
Retelling the mitten. The kiddos were assigned to an animal from the book. The parachute represented the mitten. When it was their turn to go into the mitten they went under! A fun way to retell a great story!

take a look at this paper! Our goal is for kiddos to understand value of numbers from 0-10 by the end of the year! You can work on this at home too!
