Easter and rainbows!

This was a quick week with lots to do. I jammed to amazing themes into 2 days...so the days just flew by!  I didn't have a specific letter or number focus this week. We did spend some time sorting, counting, and graphing in fun ways.

Thursday:
These sweet thumbprints are super lucky! I put a magnet on the back so you could put it on your fridge!

Making bracelets with rainbow noodles. A fun and great fine motor task.

sorting and graphing lucky charms.

What would we do if we found a pot of gold??

A great way to 1:1 count and ask higher level thinking questions
(How many hearts and clovers do you have? Which do you have the most/least of)

We made resurrection rolls.
The dough represents Jesus' tomb, the marshmallow represents Jesus, and the cinnamon sugar represents the sins that Jesus took on for us.
I took them home to bake them...

Friday
Making carrots with our feet.
The 1 time this year we have fun tickling those stinky tootsies!

Everyone gets a giggle out of this!

Eating our resurrection rolls...
Look...Jesus (the marshmallow) is no longer in the tomb (the roll)

green room fun!

decorating eggs...

All about my peep

Sorting and graphing jellybeans.

great job buddy!

A jellybean prayer

Time to capture a rainbow.
This fun activity only requires: milk, red/blue/yellow food coloring, and some dishsoap

What a fun week! I sent home a few activities you could do at home as well over break. Another fun coloring by number sheet and the jellybean prayer coloring sheet. Happy Easter and enjoy your break!!
