Thursday:
We read the story a "Tiny Seed" by Eric Carle. Then we made bird feeders made of tiny seeds. |
A simple and sticky project! |
Sweet friends helping one another! |
"dirt and worms" for snack...brought by this sweet boy! |
Z is for zebra! We tore pieces of paper to give this zebra some stripes! |
So hard for those sweet fingers! |
Now onto our cool flowers. This was a 2 day project. We put the parts on the flower the first day and labeled it on Friday. |
Flower with petals, stem, leaves, and roots. |
Each kiddos got to paint their own flower pot. We used acrylic paint and they were sprayed and sealed too so watering them shouldn't be a problem. |
These sweet kiddos worked super hard! Such great artists I have. |
Perfection! |
After we painted we got to plant something...perfect since today was Earth Day! The kiddos got to choose between flower seeds or herb seeds! |
A huge thanks to Mrs. Hannah for helping out today! Mrs. Laura planned lots of fun things today! |
We learned that plants need,: dirt, seeds, water, and air to grow! |
Just look at these tiny seeds! |
After we planted them we labeled what it was that we chose to grow. |
So proud! |
Super cute! |
Our letter Zz 4 box sheet. |
Peeling those stickers is a tough job! Awesome work sweet buddy! |
Finishing up our flower activity! We labeled the parts and then added some color by using dotters! |
Finalized project...done to perfection by these sweet kiddos! |
