This year I really embraced Dr. Seuss! The kiddos love him and he has so many wonderful life lessons! We began working on rhyming words...this will be something we do each day from now on!
We also said goodbye to a very special friend this week! He will be missed for sure...and we hope that they send us some sunshine from Arizona!

| Here is my biggest observation: Kiddos have great 1:1 until about 6...after that they seem to count faster than their sweet little fingers can move. | Thanks to a parent for sending these colorful fish in! I have a memory of a fish and kept forgetting to buy some! This was a fun activity! I gave each kiddo a handful of gold fish. They had to sort them out, count each color they had, tell me which they had the most of and least of, and count them all together. This is where I was able to do a quick assessment to see if they had 1:1 correspondence for numbers above 10. I stapled the assessment to their sheet. |

| We hope to keep in touch via "Facetime" once in a while! We got him a Gumby so he could write to us all of his adventures! He and his family are welcoming visitors to Arizona...let them know if they have any takers!! |
