| Ww is for Watermelon...We are going to make Watermelon sun catchers! For when the weather is sunny! (just in case you were wondering "what in the world are these things) |

| First we counted out seeds...I had asked them to count out 5 seeds for our number of the week! |

| Next I added gel hand-sanitizer and red food coloring...The squished it around to make it look like the inside of a watermelon. |

| Ww is for weather! I gave each kiddo a strip and we worked together to make the letter W. We then talked about each piece of weather and added that to it! |

| Time for some tornadoes! I LOVED how many of the kiddos were calling these "tomatoes" Before we started this experiment we read a book about tornadoes and talked about tornado safety. I even showed them a picture of a tornado that came a bit tooooo close to my house! |

| My neighbor took this picture...The tornado came through our driveway. I was busy practicing safe tornado procedures! I did see it...as I was running to the basement! Yikes! |
