Start the week with our Gumby Share! |
My goodness..Gumby does soooo many fun things during his stays! |
A clover for good luck! Most of these kiddos wore green so I didn't get a chance to give them a sweet pinch! |
Who knew shaving cream, glue, and green paint could be so much fun!?!? |
Love the artists in my room! http://mykidscoolmom.com/?p=307 |
If I found a pot of gold I would buy.... |
Not sure what we would do without the LOVELY Mrs. Trina! |

Use that glue...:Paste that green! |
A St. Patrick's Day Snack! YUM!! |
We used celery (because the 3 flower shops I visited were out of white carnations) to make a rainbow of our own! |
We made predictions... |
and took turns putting them into our food coloring... |
What would tomorrow bring!?!? Oh...and I did locate 1 tiny white flower...we voted as a class on what color we wanted it to be... http://www.pinterest.com/pin/84794405458648559/ |
Making a rainbow of our own! |
These were perfect! http://www.flickr.com/photos/53713447@N02/8163104934/ |
Let's sort pom-poms to the colors that are in the rainbow... and use chopsticks while we do it! |
Letter match! |
I did it! http://www.pinterest.com/pin/84794405458663786/ |
Making so jewelry...using the colors of the rainbow of course!! |
At first we used yarn...that proved to be a bit challenging...so I opted out for a rubber string. This proved to work much better for their sweet fingers. |
Such sweet friends...with awesome headbands! http://nurturestore.co.uk/rainbow-kids-craft-pasta-necklace Here is the link for my idea...however...I made the noodles differently. I added the pasta to a bag and then put in 3 TBS of rubbing alcohol. I then added food coloring...the more coloring the darker and richer the color. Purple proved a bit challenging to make! |
Great work sweet girl! This is something they loved doing and so valuable for them...they attempted to follow a sequence/pattern and string the pasta! |
Let's us revisit yesterday with the flower an celery! My goodness...look what happened! ha! |
Love...Love this picture! We used magnifying glasses to check out the celery and the changing colors of the leaves. |
My favorite experiment of all! We made a rainbow of our own! |
Add a cup of milk (our light) |
Then 3 drops of food coloring (red, blue, yellow) |
After our colors we added in the center a few drops of dish soap...our rain! |
It forced our colors to swirl together and make this beautiful rainbow. |
The kiddos drew what they saw! |
